112.ua asked citizens how deputies can be forced not to evade justice. The main thesis – to abolish parliamentary immunity.

Member of the CPLR Board Oleksandr Banchuck assessed it in such way: ‘Selective application or non-application of the law is very merciful for public officials, in particular for members of Parliament. Of course, the parliamentary immunity is reportedly has to be abolished. But I don’t want to be on trend. An every lawyer, who hasn’t been related to policy and doesn’t want to make a political career, understands European attributes of parliamentarism and will say, that in every European country there is the parliamentary immunity. It depends on its delimitation, and such immunity must be limited. We have the overinclusive parliamentary immunity, it must be limited, but not abolished’.
