Actual problems of the lawmaking process on the presidential elections eve

  Experts tried to find answers the questions:

 

Will Constitutional reform take place in Ukraine? Who is expected  to provide it?

 

Why is administrative reform not being provided? What are the perspectives for the reform of executive power and local self-government?

 

From what should we start to cease highhandedness of power in relationships with individuals? Whether access to information in public administration is provided?

 

Which variants of judicial reform do we have and why has it not been provided yet? What power “is combating” corruption in the courts? Will law enforcement agencies provide opportunity to reform themselves?

 

We present brief summary of the monitoring which is hold by the Centre for political and legal reforms in the frames of the European Commission project “Strengthening democracy in Ukraine through monitoring of government decisions in the context of the European Neighbourhood Policy with Ukraine in accordance with good governance and rule of law”.
