Conference participants concluded that the experience of Romania and Bulgaria in reforming the justice system and the evaluation mechanisms introduced after their accession to the EU should become an instrument for fighting corruption in countries that are seeking membership in the EU.
Results of the study are included in a report “EU Approach to Justice Reform in Southeastern and Eastern Europe”, which was presented at public hearings in the European Parliament that were organized by MEPs for Romania, Bulgaria and Poland.
