CIDA

The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) was a government body created in 1968 to support developing countries through aid programs focused on poverty reduction, education, gender equality, human rights, and sustainable development. In 2013, it was merged into Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, now known as Global Affairs Canada.
