The overall objective is to strengthen the institutional, procedural, and analytical capacity of Ukraine’s law-making system to ensure the timely and high-quality harmonisation of national legislation with the EU acquis under the ongoing accession negotiations.
Expected results:
- Enhanced expert and analytical framework for the preparation, consideration, and monitoring of draft laws related to European integration.
- Strengthened capacity of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Ukraine’s integration into the European Union to provide timely, high-quality legislative opinions and parliamentary oversight.
- Enhanced institutional coordination and communication between the Parliament and the Government in drafting, planning, and adopting EU-related legislation.
- Increased public awareness and understanding of EU-related reforms, fostering trust and support for democratic transformation.
