We are glad to present the publication of the first research paper on the public administration reforms experience of the Visegrad  4 within the project <\/span>\u201c<\/strong>Public Administration Reform in Visegrad Countries: Lessons Learned for Belarus and Ukraine\u201d. This paper addresses the current status of public administration and its reforms experience in Czech Republic. The document has been produced by the experts of the Asociace pro mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed ot\u00e1zky<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n

The research paper consists of the following sections:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n\t\tThe State of Public Administration<\/strong>– deals with current structure of public administration and its main reforms in last 20 years. It deals with internal divisions, decentralisation and regionalisation, finances and to lesser extent inspection powers.<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tEffectiveness of Public Administration<\/strong>– describes Czech attempts to measure and evaluate public administration\u2019s effectiveness.<\/li>\n
  3. \n\t\tHuman Resources Management<\/strong>– analyses costs and benefits of current approach to HR, including section of Code of Ethics.<\/li>\n
  4. \n\t\tSmart Administration<\/strong>– describes development of computerization and digitalization of public services and communication with the public sector.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Currently the document is available in English and Russian languages.The final publication of the project will also be available in Ukrainian.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The research papers on public administration in Poland, Slovakia and Hungary are expected to be available shortly.<\/span><\/p>\n
