The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine) on December 24, 2015 adopted in general the bill on public procurement. Procurement system Prozorro was a standard for a new electronic tendering.
Survey was carried out by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF) during the period from November 17, 2015 through November 26, 2015 to the order of Centre for policy and legal reform within the UNDP projects “Smart Practices for Oversight by Non-State Actors on Administrative Service Provision” and “Democratization, human rights and civil society development”
Nowadays, there is a large threat of distorting e-petitions as a tool of the authorities and of citizens. Both sides see their own purposes and prospects of e-petitions, but none of them have a clear understanding of their essence. It is therefore appropriate to provide precise and concise way for a “bright future” of this instrument of democracy.
The reputation of the legal institute of residence registration in Ukraine needs rehabilitating after its Soviet discrediting. Many Ukrainians deem propyska a pointless relic of the past, reminding them of the ruthless and arbitrary bureaucrats of the former regime. Despite this fact, there is little discussion anywhere of creating better policies.
Public discussions "All-Ukrainian referendum: open dialogue with citizens" will take place in May-June 2020.
